Cristian Tello Again Linked With Loan Move To Liverpool

English website Caught Offside exclusively report that Liverpool are supposedly on the verge of securing the signing of FC Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, claiming that a deal could be struck to take the forward to Anfield in the next few days.

Of course, Culés will remember that Cristian Tello was not only linked with a move away from the Camp Nou this past summer, but that Tello was linked with a move to Liverpool in the last few weeks, a link that was quickly dismissed by Barcelona head coach,Gerardo Martino.
However, despite a vote of confidence from his manager and from his fellow teammates, Tello's future remains uncertain and it is assumed that he would be tempted by the allure of first team football, particularly with the FIFA World Cup looming. At current, the speedy winger is behind both Neymar and Pedro in the pecking order at left-wing; while his performances on the opposite flank have offered little encouragement. With bothIsaac Cuenca and Ibrahim Afellay returning from lengthy injuries, Barcelona could arguably afford to let Tello leave on a temporary deal, affording him the game time he desperately needs to take his game forward to the next level.
After all, with the likes of Adama Traore and Joan Angel Roman impressing for the B team, Barca possess a great deal of depth on the flanks.
However, the report on Caught Offside claims that Barcelona are prepared to offer Liverpool the option to make the move permanent in the summer, which simply does not make sense. Yes, Gerard Deulofeu will return from his loan spell with Everton, but why would the Blaugrana not just sell Tello this window, possibly for an inflated price if they do not consider him to be part of their future plans?
Barring a massive turnaround, I think we can chalk this rumour up as fiction.
